Renovation attracts attention at Build & Renovate event

The Build & Renovate fair is open to exhibitors and visitors this weekend (24-26 January). The biggest crowd-puller at last year's fair was a detached house renovation. It proved to be of interest to the majority of the 14,500 visitors.

The second-biggest topic drawing visitors' attention was family house building. According to a study carried out by Rakentaja.fi at the 2013 fair, renovation is of interest to both construction and design professionals as well as the general public.

Renovation and building and the work phases they involve are at the forefront of the fair, which opened today. The event also presents interior design, as usual, and offers guidance on choices of materials.
